Langdon Street Capital (Langdon) is currently expanding its development reach and preparing market studies of various neighborhoods with the intention of developing several retail, multi-family, small lot subdivision and mixed use projects. Langdon has joint-ventured with an experienced developer in Los Angeles and is currently in the entitlement stages of multiple small lot subdivision developments in a prestigious Los Angeles neighborhood on the edge of West Hollywood. Langdon anticipates the completion of over 25 small lot subdivisions by 2018, and continues to aggressively seek appropriately zoned single family lots to expand its small lot subdivision development portfolio.

We specialize in short term loans between 6 to 24 months and up to $10 Million in funding. Our efficient underwriting practices allow us to offer competitive rates and terms and we work with our borrowers to offer a loan structure that suits their needs. Strong capital backing and liquidity enable us to close quickly and present borrowers with a favorable alternative to the increasingly stringent and time consuming process associated with conventional financing.

Langdon currently manages over 1 Million SF of diverse retail properties throughout California including neighborhood centers, strip centers and street retail in various demographics. The Principal of Langdon Street Capital (Langdon), Adam Daneshgar, has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to founding Langdon in 2009, Daneshgar served as an Investment Consultant for Beverly Hills based 3D Investments. His responsibilities at 3D included strategic planning of existing assets and analysis of potential investment opportunities. From 2005 through 2007, Daneshgar was a Financial Consultant for CB Richard Ellis in Los Angeles, where he personally underwrote over 40 million square feet of office, retail, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use investment properties across the United States valued at over $4 Billion. He also prepared lease vs. own, hold vs. sell, condo conversion and comparative lease analyses. At the time of his departure, Daneshgar had the highest production output of any Consultant in the nation within CB Richard Ellis's Financial Consulting Group.
Daneshgar earned his Master's Degree of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California (USC) with Honors distinction. He was awarded with Honorable Mention for Outstanding Performance on the program's final Comprehensive Examination (Thesis). Daneshgar was selected as one of only three MREDs to represent the program and present his Comprehensive Project at the School of Policy, Planning and Development's (SPPD) Academic Capstone Symposium. Daneshgar also received an SPPD Academic Capstone Award for his role in the case study of the renowned California Plaza in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (UW) with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. Throughout his tenure at UW, Daneshgar held positions as an Acquisition and Management Intern at NewMark Merrill Companies (Woodland Hills) and a Commercial Loan Analyst at Commercial Realty Consultants Inc. (Calabasas).
Andrew oversees growth and partnership strategies for Grand Central Square as well as business development for Langdon.
Most recently, Andrew served as an Operations Manager for Eataly USA in New York City, responsible for the strategy, growth, and operation for Eataly’s Quick Service Revenue division. Prior to Eataly, Andrew served as an Analyst at ACORE Capital (ACORE), focusing on loan origination, sourcing, underwriting and executing first mortgage and subordinate debt opportunities. At ACORE, Andrew underwrote and closed eleven deals totaling $711 MM in debt financing. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BBA in Finance, Investment & Banking.
Matt has previously been responsible for overseeing investment sales transactions in Brooklyn, New York. He has led over 30+ successful, multifamily, mixed-use, and development deals prior to joining Langdon Street Capital. He is largely responsible for identifying underperforming assets, underwriting all property types, and handling day to day deal negotiations to acquire new properties. Additionally, he manages the construction process from inception to complete renovation. Matt attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating with an undergraduate degree in Economics. While working in New York, Matt simultaneously attended New York University striving to obtain his Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance.
Chandler Davis joined Langdon Street Capital in the summer of 2016 as an Acquisitions Analyst after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree. Davis graduated Phi-Betta Kappa with majors in Economics with a Mathematical Emphasis and Chinese, and was ranked #1 in the College of Letters and Science by graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Davis founded the boxing club at the University of Wisconsin-Madison after a 54-year ban and led a student run non-profit loan fund. Davis was selected as a finalist to interview for the first class of Schwarzman Scholars, and was awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship. During his college summers, Davis held internships with William E. Connor & Associates in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and Colony Capital in Los Angeles.
Julian is the founder of the Brighton Group, a vertically integrated real estate firm specializing in multi-tenant retail properties in pedestrian districts in Southern California. He currently sits on the board of the Melrose Property Owners Association and serves on the steering committee for the Melrose Business Improvement District. Previously, Julian worked at KCB Management, a mid-market private equity firm engaged in both business ventures and real estate, where he was responsible for portfolio support, deal origination and diligence. Prior to KCB, Julian was in the Investment Banking division of Wachovia Securities, where he advised restaurant and grocery clients across a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings. He earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Alanna has more than five years of experience in the Los Angeles construction industry. Prior to joining Langdon, Alanna worked on a variety of projects in Swinerton Builders' Special Projects division, ranging from ground-up high rises to seismic retrofits of historic buildings. Most recently, she managed construction projects for WeWork as an owner-builder, heavily involved with landlords and internal design & real estate teams. Alanna has a Master's degree in Construction Management from Stanford University and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
